"Vine buscando cobre, y encontré oro" Entré con cero expectativas sobre la película y Paul Dano me sorprendió con una película excelente en todos los aspectos. Me parece una obra maestra muy escondida porque nunca había escuchado de ella, y llegué a ella gracias a que estoy viendo todas las películas de Jake Gyllenhaal. Este solo fue otra obra maestra donde su papel no me decepciona en lo absoluto. Solo espero y en el futuro poder ver más películas de Paul. "I came looking for copper, and I found gold" I went in with zero expectations about the film and Paul Dano surprised me with an excellent film in all aspects. It seems like a very hidden masterpiece to me because I had never heard of it, and I came to it thanks to "I'm watching all of Jake Gyllenhaal's movies. This was just another masterpiece where his role doesn't disappoint me at all. I just hope to see more of Paul's movies in the future.

A standout directorial debut from Mr. Paul Dano. Diego García‘a use of camerawork and lighting are astounding, and mayhaps highlight his potential as a future big name in the industry. The fact that Dano hasn’t directed anything since this is a crime. Looking forward to his future comedy film collab with The Daniels.

I went in with such high expectations for this, I really expected to like it, however, it falls completely flat. I genuinely find nothing about this interesting; not the characters, not the dialogue, and not the predictability of the director’s choices. I’m not sure what the crowd at Sundance saw but this couldn’t have been it, right?
