i honestly have no words other than all oppressors shall fall in this lifetime and all oppressed will be freed and be given justice. lily gladstone’s performance was such an incredible watch, the way she deliver her line with so much emotion and tenderness was amazing, even down to the subtlest acting choices it’s incredible! the way she didn’t even have to speak much but you can see everything in her face and body language, its just so good wow. lily gladstone we are gonna get you that academy award i promise!

in all honesty, the runtime was perfect because i feel like this movie wouldn't have been as phenomenal if it was cut short to appeal to people scared of long movies. lily gladstone gave an oscar winning performance and there will be a riot if she doesn't walk out of the ceremony with that statue for best actress in hand. i'm also shocked leo didn't get a nomination because this is without a doubt some of, if not his best performance ever. finally, i will never get tired of martin scorsese making movies and whenever i'm done watching some of his work i constantly think about guillermo del toro saying if God offered to take years off of his lifespan to give them to martin, he would let Him without any hesitation because i too would offer years off of my lifespan to keep peepaw scorsese alive for as long as possible.

One of the hardest films to really talk about on here, this was truly breathtaking. Its story is so filled with pain and horror and it’s all handled in such a real way. I don’t think DiCaprio smiles once for the entire film and doesn’t really have any reason too. Robert De Niro gives an absolute great performance, you can tell he really cared about the story and the character he played. Lily Gladstone will rightly win the Oscar. It’s a great and important film which everyone should watch.
