What in the absolute insanity did I just watch. Its been a while since I couldn't believe what I was seeing in a film. I audibly gasped so many times. Smile 2 takes everything I liked about the first and increases it to the max. It answers all the questions I have as well. The plot this time I found way more enjoyable. Seeing it from a popstars pov was interesting. Unlike the first this had me questioning every scene. There was so many twists and turns I honestly couldn't believe it. Its crazy how like half of the movie technically didn't happen. The horror aspects and atmosphere was insanely creepy. I'm not usually one to get scared by horror films but this was definitely chilling. The cast is phenomenal. Naomi Scott is amazing. She brings so much to this movie. I feel like I was more immersed from her performance alone. It made me care more about everything. Now the gore was insane. I thought the first was crazy, but this was chaos.It looked insane. I really love how both of these films keep the eerie horror with the gore. It makes everything a lot more shocking. The characters were very enjoyable as well. This was such a freaky and insane experience. Definitely one of the best horror movies I've seen in the past 2 years. Just an insane experience. Edit: this is the 300th horror film I've watched. 🎉

This one’s such a step up. The visuals, directing, and sound are all on point, and Naomi Scott just kills it with her acting. It’s got so many eerie moments—way scarier than the first. Loved it, definitely a favorite horror movie for me this year. 2024: Ranked (https://boxd.it/sDDDC)

until now i still dont know which are hallucinations and which are not, like they fucked my brain hard holy shit. this is incredible though, definitely so much better than the first one.   my girl skye was going through hell, literally going from hallucination to hallucination but she was so strong trying to fight it off and i was honestly rooting so bad for her. my girl deserves better fr but skye riley you are final girl TO ME!
