i bought the dvd recently at a hobby store because the lady working there was helping me pick out some horror movies she thought i'd like and handed it to me. i was never really interested watching the movie at first because of the director's controversy, i was honestly going to wait until he died, but i heard a lot of good things from this movie and i also didn't want to have space wasted in my collection of a movie i've never seen. i thought it was pretty good, it wasn't boring as many people said it was. i was pretty surprised i enjoyed it. i loved the setting and the design of the creeper it just made it scarier imo. i would've given it 4 stars but some of the scenes of the creeper being weird to darry and trish (mostly darry) it just threw me off especially of what the director has done.

i hate this movie. i hate the creeper but more importantly i hate darry. everything happen because he was a fucking dumbass. if you think you see a man dumping a body down a giant drain, instead of going and looking down that drain yourself, make note of where you are and then find the fucking police. its that damn simple but no darry, being the complete and total dumbass he is thought he, a teenage boy, could snoop at a killer's dumping ground and nothing bad would happen. AND THIS HAPPENED AFTER THE CREEPER CHASED THEM OFF THE ROAD! they had already been chased by a guy they assumed was a murderer and he still begged to go back to look! come on now! he is literally a top 5 dumbest horror movie character ever! (i just noticed that i forgot to mark this as watched when i first created my LB back in 2020 so now was as good a time as ever to go on an anti-darry rant.)
