A história poderia ser tão boa quanto a fotografia, uma pena que seja uma grande falha. Pra começar com o Warren, cujo personagem que eu não senti absolutamente nenhuma empatia. É um homem básico e extremamente raso! Tentaram sustentar o filme com as cenas de sexo, as quais pouquíssimas se salvam e as mesmas não chegam nem a ser minimamente decentes. Por fim, nojo de quem trai! (Plus pro Mark pq ele é lindo e o jeitinho me lembrou o Buck de 911).

CHEATERS WE LOVE YOU! No butIN FROM THE SIDEis so close to being more than just solid. Narratively, emotionally, the beats are there for some excellent stuff. However the writing is a bit weak, a lot of the acting is suspect, and the entire film is lit like an Old Navy commercial. There’s also the issue of this being over two hours long. Had some fun with this though! Lead actors are hot, I enjoyed their forbidden romance quite a bit and the fact that the film centered entirely around a gay rugby club, thus minimizing the amount of straight people I had to see on my screen—was another plus. The soundtrack and use of score is excellent and montage work was interesting. Just a bit disappointing that the film only decides to be realistic when it’s time to deny the characters what they want, but whatever!
