God, I really want to do an in depth review of this film. But I simply can't. It's left me utterly speechless. From the visuals to the score, everything about this was just.. perfect. Although I had a hard time following at points, due to the lack of subtitles in the version I watched, I still was able to follow this extremely captivating revenge story. Only God Forgives is not just a film, but rather an experience. I will need to experience this film many times to completely understand everything about this film. It's a masterpiece.

“Wanna fight?” Holy fucking shit, I love Nicholas Winding Refn. Having seen 3 of his films already, he’s starting to become one of my favorite filmmakers. Only God Forgives is everything I ask for in an action movie and more. Absolutely gorgeous lighting and cinematography, and exciting, gritty and methodical action setpieces.
