por isso q eu amo filmes. já tinha ouvido falar desse aqui mas n sabia da história, nunca pensei q tinha a ver com planeta e essas coisas, que surpresa boa. tudo muito lindo, cinematografia de ótima qualidade e atuações excepcionais. tá aí um ótimo jeito do mundo acabar: colidindo com outro planeta. além de ser uma morte rápida e indolor, seria muito lindo (pensamentos de uma terça a noite 😜). nibiru você prometeu!

lindo filme, parece um obra de arte mas pqp não sei se foi proposital mas em alguns momentos o movimento da câmera, o zoom e os cortes bruscos da edição faziam parecer que eu tava vendo um episódio de The Office

If someone were to ask me what this movie is about, I couldn’t tell them. 2 sisters and a son, depression & anxiety? I thought the first part was entirely too long, too. One star for the acting and the Safdie-esque filming style. Will not be rewatching. Perhaps this movie was too conceptual?

Melancholia is an extremely slow burner. Many people can't finish it because it's so slow. That's what I love about this movie. It's super slow, but beautiful. The was Lars von Trier directed it makes almost every frame of the movie like a hyper-realistic photograph. It has a star-studded A+ cast that makes this movie what it is. The ending itself wasn't that shocking, but Trier made it beautiful, even though you knew the inevitable; the world was going to come to a fiery end (literally). Melancholia is slow, but give it time because it's an extremely beautiful movie.
