Experimental horror with audio hasn’t been done in a while so i enjoyed the format but everything else feels like a drag. There could’ve been something interesting aside from the reverse tracks to add more substance to the creepy pasta nature of the script. Watching at 2 am alone in the dark with good headphones definitely improves the experience because the sound mix is great.

Kevin Williamson it is now the architect of the best and worst entry of this franchise. The well paced horror sequences throughout the vast majority of this movie are totally dwarfed by the most uninspired and lazy writing. The third act is the result of corporate greed, devoid of any logic and essentially becoming a Stab movie of their own. A horror flick that relies on action to try to hide the fact that it has nothing to say and is no different than the films Williamson used to criticize back in 96. Every sense of growth and creative evolution went away with Melissa Barrera’s character and all that follows is more slasher slop. Btw only ethical way to watch this movie is to not spend a single dollar to do so. And most importantly, FREE PALESTINE!
