“Every masterpiece is a sin, and Frankenstein just made the prettiest one.” The visuals in this film are jaw droppingly gorgeous, every frame looks like it was painted by hand. The craftsmanship is unreal, everything clicks perfectly. The emotional tension between Victor and his creation really lands too; it’s heavy, tender, and strange in the best way. The middle does slow down a bit, felt like it lingered too long, but honestly I didn’t care. It’s too beautiful to look away. The sets, the costumes, the atmosphere, pure eye candy. Oscar Isaac delivers one of his most layered performances, brilliant, unstable, and full of ego that’s constantly on the edge of breaking. And Jacob Elordi...God, he’s incredible. His Monster isn’t just a body stitched together; he’s a soul trying to understand why he exists at all. It’s a performance that burns slow and deep. The direction has this mad precision to it, and Mia Goth, she’s just magnetic here. I’d kill to experience this on a massive screen.

“i will make you bleed. i will make you humble. you may be my creator but from this day forward, i will be your master” of course a man (fathers) despises despises what he had created. i honestly have nothing else to say other than that this is a cinematic masterpiece that deserves to be seen on a big screen. cinematography is so so so beautiful i could only imagine how good it looks in the cinema, the way guillermo intended it to be. incredible incredible performance to all the actors as well. overall this has been an incredible experience and i am EXTREMELY jealous to everyone who will see this on a big screen. also victor should've suffered more but that just might be me. GUILLERMO DEL TORO I LOVE YOU AND YOUR VISION YOURE QUITE LITERALLY PAPAS ORCHARD TO ME!

intrigante, estonteante, envolvente, revoltante, emocionante. resumi em 5 adjetivos o filme que eu não conseguia despregar os olhos da tv de tão lindo que era, gui del toro está de parabéns! espero que o filme do drácula que vai sair seja tão bom quanto esse e nosferatu pra consolidar a trindade gótica
