Happy Gilmore 2
Happy Gilmore 2 was… okay. I’ve never been huge on remakes or sequels — they tend to lean too hard on nostalgia and end up feeling repetitive, and this one kind of falls into that trap. There are some genuinely funny moments (Adam Sandler still knows how to deliver a solid punchline), and the cameos were a fun surprise. But overall, it didn’t really do much to justify its existence. The energy just wasn’t the same, and it felt more like a victory lap than a fresh, new take. Not something I would’ve gone out of my way to see in the cinema — maybe good for a casual watch at home if you’re a fan of the original, but nothing to scream about.
Happy Gilmore 2
Happy Gilmore 2 is definitely a far cry from the original but not terrible either. It does have some funny moments sprinkled in but mostly falls flat of what it’s trying to achieve. It’s absolutely filled with cameos, pretty much one every minute, some are definitely better than others. Travis Kelce seemed very out of place notably but I guess it was just a bit of a free for all. It’s probably worth a watch is you’re an Adam Sandler fan but if his movies aren't really for you then you won’t be missing much.
Happy Gilmore 2
Kind of yes, but actually no I’m still baffled by how studio executives are willing to pour money into completely unnecessary sequels to long-forgotten films from decades past. I appreciate their enthusiasm, and maybe the idea looked ambitious on paper, but what we end up with is a drawn-out plot, humorless gags, and a slew of pointless characters. The only thing that truly impressed me was the scale of the production — for a comedy of this sort, that’s remarkable. Everything else is so unremarkable that it’s neither worth praising nor even criticizing.
Happy Gilmore 2
Boring and didn't funny as the first one. Well Happy isn't Happy anymore i think, he just searching every spot and hole to fill his whiskey which kinda funny to me. Seeing the first movie cast grown up it makes me nostalgic, i don't know why. Also ridiculous ending, glad that Happy is happy again. Great cameo but it needs more spice and better execution, this just like a sitcom at this point.
