Not bad at all but it's not for me

an excellent exploration of grief, family, identity and culture through the use of a sci-fi lens. and it's incredible. about ten minutes into after yang i had a feeling that i would, at least, definitely enjoy it. but i ended up loving it. kogonada’s crafted such an efficient and impactful film here…i will definitely be thinking about it for a while. there's no something, without nothing.

i love how this isn't just about how to be human but also how to be asian, being raised in western world can be so jarring because you feel the disconnection and doesn't belong into your own roots..
