“men are all animals at war” “you won the war. does this seem a better world to you?” men will believe and say anything to convince themselves that they are doing the right thing its insane. its no shock that they are good at gaslighting bcs they do it to themselves first. incredible performance between salma hayek and demián bichir but man salma hayek is SO GOOD! i might be a bit biased bcs i love her (idc) but her acting here where she conveys every emotion with just her eyes and face is just so phenomenal. the fact that she initially didnt want to accept the project bcs she thought she wasnt the right actress for it baffles me, thank god for angelina jolie for convincing her. and angelina jolie ofc what an incredible incredible director just as she is as an actress. im hoping for a theatrical release one day because this deserves to be seen more.
