First half plays like a lesbian romance film, second half is a somewhat shallow thriller which ends abruptly. It’s not bad by any means, and the acting from the two leads is great, but I can’t help feel this was simply fine. Not really much to say about it, watch for Anne Hathaway.

I was gonna rate it a 4 but the lack of answers at the end kinda turned it into a 3.5 ⭐️ unfortunately. I did like this movie though! Loved both Thomasin & Anne's acting. Costumes & hair looked great. I think the mystery of the Polk family + Eileen & Rebecca's sort of mutual interest was good but the ending could've been much better imo.
