Diary Entry forAnita's Last Cha-Cha
other than me saying “ang ganda ni angel aquino” over and over again throughout the movie and me wishing to have a child-like view of the world all over again. this movie reminded me so much of myself that i was just laughing at how innocent and naive i was.when lolita gave anita a shirt instead of a dress because she know how much anita hates dresses made me cry so much than i was supposed to because it’s her way of telling anita that she accepts her no matter what. although it was seen in the movie that she was slowly starting to let go and letting anita be anita that one particular scene really hit hard. this is so well acted from the three kids and angel aquino, the dialogue between the children are so well written in a way that it’s quite literally written and catered for children because media nowadays don’t know how to write children and it’s so refreshing to see that in this film. and then angel aquino wow, i’m not even going to say that i’m surprised because she has always been great but wow i love you so much. that revelation at the end? the way it was delivered and acted out? incredible!!! it literally got my jaw on the floor, it’s amazing.
