Diary Entry forDistance
“napalaki ako ng maayos ni papa, napalaki niya akong marunong magpatawad pero hindi ka naman nagsosorry” that line hit so hard i wanted to kill myself, if there’s one thing gay people is going to do its having mommy issues. see this would’ve love this even more if karla’s lines are delivered differently? it just seems monotonous at some parts and i don’t know if that’s just an acting choice for the sake of the character but even if it is i think it didn’t work out the way it should. however let me give her 10s where its due because she really delivered in that confrontation scene, i can feel the frustration, the anguish, and the conflicted feelings she has for her mother. in the movie its been hinted that liz left to be with jen but there was never a clear reason for why she left and gave up everything despite the consequences and when it was revealed that she left so she can take care and love jen until her last breath, that shattered me. she chose herself and love the love her life till the end even though it would cause a rift between her and her children and it made me want to jump in front of a moving truck.
