The Mummy Returns
The Mummy Returns
Way more action-packed than the original and even more illogical than it.
The Mummy Returns
CGI still shoddy (lol they try though). Relationship still believable Expeditions still interesting. Again, again!
The Mummy Returns
❝My friend, there is a fine line between coincidence and fate.❞ ─── ・ 。 ─── There's no beating around the bush here: this is definitely a major step-down from The Mummy. The first half of the film is honestly a little bit of a bore, and it only picks up after Rick and the others crash the hot air balloon. And though the visuals are still great, the CGI is so much worse; the low-res Rock-scorpion creature haunts my dreams to this day. As far as acting goes, I couldnt find any faults, but I was impressed with Arnold Vosloo's performance during the final scene because he had literally two facial expressions in the previous film. So, overall, it's not a bad time at all (especially considering what comes after this entry in the trilogy), but it's missing a lot of the charm from The Mummy.
