i honestly do not watch films that have some scary shit and only watch this one because my friends wanted to watch it together and this one scared the shit out of me like my heart is beating so fast i thought im gonna faint, please i even watched this movie eyes half closed. it is however such a good film! i really did love it.

korean cinema, my ultimate favorite. the first time i saw it, i was blown away by the twists but this time i could really appreciate the layers and nuances in every scene. may it be the first time, second or third rewatch, this will remain— a masterpiece.

Nunca vou esquecer que Parasita que me ajudou a quebrar o preconceito com o cinema internacional, abrindo portas que eu achava que nunca iriam se abrir. Sua narrativa é cativante, com ângulos de filmagem que ajudam a construir o monólogo, uma fotografia abstrata que muda a cada diálogo e, claro, sua imprevisibilidade. O filme nos mostra as relações sociais parasitárias sob a perspectiva de que essas relações irão permanecer imutáveis. Parasita definitivamente merece sem ressalvas sua popularidade, não só pelos aspectos técnicos, mas também pela abordagem das camadas sociais que, infelizmente, ainda vivemos.
