the conflict being philip telling anna hes married when he isnt then anna finding out he isnt actually married and getting mad abt him not actually being married then paying him back by making him jealous is so silly I LOOOOVE IT 😭 this who they meant when they say idiots in love. this is so much fun i was just giggling and kicking my feet the whole time I LOVE ROMCOMS AND INGRID & CARY ARE PERFECT

“I don't want a lobster, I want a man! I need a man, tonight. Here! Right now!” Once again, my bisexual panic is off the charts after watching this film. Like...romcoms used to have good-looking people with the best chemistry known to man! What happened now, honestly? I do love this film. I can tell for sure that this now on my comfort films (https://boxd.it/DPLUO) list and a rewatch is bound to happen soon enough. Cary and Ingrid's chemistry and pairing is nothing but beautiful, and the DAAAAAAMMMMN!! scene? Absolute iconic. Also, maybe I'll buy some cold cream now and put it on my face, hoping a handsome man (preferably 90's Al Pacino) or a beautiful woman would appear at my doorstep.
