i enjoyed the movie, the visuals were beautiful as always. the princess was a bit useless at the end. the most likable character for me is no surprise maleficent. angelina owned this character, she does it beautifully!

After all, it was Maleficent's love which broke that very same curse.❞ · · ───── ·⋆⋅𖤓⋅⋆· ───── · · Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is nowhere near as good as its predecessor, but I can't deny that overall I still kinda liked it. As with the first film, Angelina Jolie did a fantastic job as the titular character, and I liked most of the acting of the supporting cast, especially that of Sam Riley and Michelle Pfeiffer, though Harris Dickinson unfortunately gave a very stiff performance. The plot was alright, but it played out in a surprisingly boring manner save for a few scenes here and there, and the CGI here also seemed worse than the first film's to me. I will say, however, that the costumes and sets were breathtakingly beautiful, and I liked a lot of the score throughout the film. All in all, I'm not sure I'd revisit this, but it was nice to watch once.
