These little minions. Oh, how've I've come to despise you. The minions seemed to be the main point of Despicable Me and Despicable Me 2. These little (pills? aliens? who knows?) things took the country by storm, spawning a movie that is solely dedicated to these things; a movie that is completely unnecessary. Granted, the kids love these little creatures. They think they're cute and funny and I can see why these are so popular with the kids. But for the adults, it's just a pain. These creatures cannot speak regularly, but only in gibberish. So, you get to spend an hour and a half listening to these things blabber. Now, there are other human voices, but they aren't the main point of this. It's just these minions. Minions is a movie meant for kids, and only for kids. I never liked them in the Despicable Me movies and I don't see why they needed to have a movie of their own. I think the only thing I liked about this was the fact that they got big people to lend their voices to it, despite the fact that it's practically pointless, as this is meant for the minions. Not the human characters. Minions is a great movie for kids, but not for those who actually want quality entertainment.
