its the way that they broke the cycle made me sob so hard like instead of screaming at their child for not listening, they made their child understand why they wanted them to just stay in the cave (?) and they taught them everything the child has to learn so they wouldnt hurt themselves the way they hurt themselves when they were young ☹️
