Following
Yeah Chris Nolan has had the sauce from the beginning… It’s about damn time I watched this film

Michael
If this film didn’t have Michael Jackson’s music. This would’ve been an absolute snorefest. No hate to Jaafar Jackson or any of the other actors. This is on the writing. The story and the potential of what it could’ve been done… oh well we wait for the Beatles biopics in hope for a decent major film about musicians I suppose. Also, that chimp looked suspiciously AI…

Incendies
I had never experienced the feeling of throwing while in complete shock. What a film man...

Goal III: Taking on the World
There was literally no football in a football movie for the first 30 mins… who the hell greenlit this shite????? Genuinely my FIFA 14 player career mode had a better outcome than this nonsense…

Goal II: Living the Dream
It’s just comedy gold that Arsenal manage to bottle a 2 goal lead in film as well… might be the only redeeming factor for this film. The story and pacing is so out of whack that it’s just unwatchable at times. The score is meh… to be fair you can’t do much when the pacing, dialogue, editing is just that horrid. Once again, the soundtrack is decent… completely forgot that they used Feeder’s Feeling A Moment. Mythical pull, that

Invictus
Matt Damon can really do anything huh…

Goal!
A decent-ish film about football culture/community in the UK and especially Newcastle. (Even if it just wiped out Sunderland from existence lmao) The story is quite good, and the acting was great, mixed with actual match footage featuring the real players was an amazing touch. The football playing could’ve been a little more polished, but hey… I’m getting really pedantic. I will say the accents weren’t the best… seriously guys, please hire an accent coach if you’re going to attempt a Geordie accent. The score and soundtrack was great, going down the britpop route for the score with a few Oasis songs here and there (which I’ll never complain about)

Project Hail Mary
The entire score is just the Dies Irae motif but in major… and there’s your music fun fact for the day

The Drama
Minus 1 star for not playing Pumped Up Kicks

The Endless River
Kinda experimental… but I kinda dig it

Classic Albums: Pink Floyd - The Making of The Dark Side of the Moon
I have listened to this album so many times that at this point, this shit runs in my DNA. P.S. Where tf is Any Colour You Like??? I have my theories but I have got know the band’s reason to have that song on the album

Bring Me the Horizon: L.I.V.E. in São Paulo
Sound mixed to perfection. Probably the closest to actually watching BMTH live. Side note, that Chester cameo broke me fs

Project Hail Mary
I’m happy to say that the film stays honest to the book. Daniel Pemberton you’ve outdone yourself once again… bro had me tearing up in certain moments. Cast shines at what they do… what else can you expect from Ryan Gosling at this point. Don’t mind me, I’m currently levitating to the end credits score.

The Voice of Hind Rajab
The most horrifying, uncomfortable, yet the most important piece of cinema for our generation.

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man
Tommy Shelby aura farming in every single frame and I’m here for it. Grian Chatten absolutely kills it on this score, no notes.

Train Dreams
My god, what a film. For once all the best pictures nominees are fully deserved to be there. 2025 was an absolute heater of a year for films.

Hamnet
Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley supremacy. Max Richter absolutely cooks on the score for this as well man…

Twenty One Pilots: More Than We Ever Imagined
If Phineas and Ferb formed a band. Genuinely was an amazing concert film, sound mixed to perfection, in beautiful IMAX… what’s to complain about?

The Amazing Spider-Man 2
Best shot Spider-Man film to date. As well as the best Spidey theme… That moment when the screen cuts to black and all you hear is the bell and see the spider logo, then the trumpet motif kicks in??? Peak. Only plaudits are the score, cinematography, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone’s performances. Everything else is absolute poo.
