Noroi: The Curse
I'm not a fan of found films, though in this one, the execution was done right.
Noroi: The Curse
Sleepily watched on a Saturday night after a long day's drive. Hard to watch in the sense an always-buffering, pixelated RealPlayer video stream from 2000 was hard to watch, but an interesting stylistic exercise all around that managed to sustain its conspiracy spiral through to a great climax. I think the mixed-programme, Internet-era-sorcery approach made things more compelling for me in a subgenre I don't usually care for (and admittedly have very little experience with). EDIT: Once I re-acquire a CRT for my old game system corner again, I'm going to find this on VHS and give it a re-watch. Seeing this rough-and-earnest camcorder presentation on a modern HD display felt sacrilegious.
Noroi: The Curse
Watching it alone at the night with my lights turns off hit different actually. It's scary but it's also so long boring and confusing, i didn't want to read another explanation for this movie. I felt asleep many times while watching this, but after watching this i feel scared and having a headache 🤕 i guess i can't sleep right now.
