Ikiru
Slow, methodical and delicate, Ikiru is a vast change of pace from Akira Kurosawas usual work. It’s not my favourite of his but I still really enjoyed this, the second part being my favourite. The conversation about who truly built the part was gripping and reminded me a lot of 12 angry men, a film which I also loved. Well worth a watch.
Ikiru
If I've been watching this movie for a long time, it's because I'm at the fucking lowest point of my life and for which there is no easy solution to the situation I find myself in. But it does have a teaching as old as time itself: work on yourself and always be the person you want to be, but enjoy, and for something good make life worth living. I don't want to elaborate on that.

“I can't afford to hate people. I don't have that kind of time.” Beyond masterpiece
