i love watching depressing films to reignite my love for cinema. i've always wanted to get around to watching this cause i saw the clip of the lead recording herself on her camera and i thought it was so intriguing and very close to home. rarely have i ever felt so peaceful as when i watched the second half of this. the scenery & the sounds create such a dreamy atmosphere. i also love how the camera work is done. instead of simply moving from shot to shot senseless.. it just lingers, giving you time to think, reflect, and appreciate the amazing views. so tranquil with such a unique mood. i think the second half is a lot stronger than first one. the scene between the director, the female lead and the actor felt kind of off? idk. overall, i really enjoyed it.
