im sorry but it just made no sense to go back a forth between the lead guy being kidnapped and his friend on a date/at the school dance. and even when it cut back to his mom it still didnt fit. the editing/writing choices in this movie make no sense. the girl and her father were not interesting psychopaths they were just kind of boring. i dont know why this movie ha such a high score. it is ok at best. lastly i am disgusted with teenage sex scenes and nudity in film. doesnt matter that the actor is an adult, if they are playing someone who is underage then we do not need to see that character nude or in a sex scene.
