Haru

a light film that is packaged in an interesting way with a refreshing plot. really like haru's character who respects hoshi's position in any condition. a healthy couple who know each other's position in their relationship. tge message sent was successfully conveyed, how haru's character who is constantly forced to move forward and leave the past behind, meets hoshi who always avoids moving forward. the bonding of two people who have the same problem is indeed undeniable! the cinematography is also neat and beautiful, you won't get bored of watching the scenes shown! tge plus point is, there are no strange things that usually always appear in japanese films - there are some, but they are not too brought up and are still in a reasonable portion in my opinion.

Haru, a nickname that just joined the online forum for film lovers (The OG's Letterboxd bros I guess haha.). Then we are shown a conversation between Haru and Hoshi, one of the members of the online forum.Haru is shown to be getting closer to Hoshi as Haru starts to open up about her life, and they start to support each other as friends by communicating using email.Then it was shown to other members of the online forum that it turned out there was a plot twist in it. When I first watched this a few years ago and when I watched Shunji Iwai's All About Lily Chou-Chou, I noticed that it was more or less the same if you've watched both. Haru with Chit-Chat text with blue background and jazzy scoring, and Lily Chou-Chou Fan Community which they call Ether. As for the ending, I really like it because it's so wholesome. I hope I can meet my social media friends someday. We talk about things we like... that's cool.. I'll look forward to it, my social media friends.
