No exaggeration, this is one of the worst films I’ve ever watched. On my page I made a rule, no 1/2 star rating if I finish the film, I finished this yet I’m making an exception. Absolutely awful in every way. To sum up this film in one short scene, a man owns a shop. The lock breaks on the door to the shop. He calls a locksmith and the locksmith comes. The locksmith attempts to fix the lock but cannot as the door is broke. Locksmith informs shop owner he needs to replace the door not the lock. Shop owner goes absolutely crazy at this poor locksmith so locksmith leaves. That evening the shop gets robbed and trashed. So what do you think shop owner does:  A) Help his family clean up and fix the shop B) Realise he should’ve replaced the door C) Go and attempt to shot and murder the lock smith. Yes, it’s option C. Literally the stupidest, most bizarre thing I’ve ever seen. Is America really as bad as these films make it? If so, please don’t ever try and say America is a nice place. A disgusting film.

This is a movie that your teacher would force you to watch during Black or Hispanic History Month. You thought it was going to be a movie day? Nah! Now you are fighting for your life, trying to stay awake because every time you fall asleep, the teacher nudges you.

Lush, slow-burning. Exquisite in its way, the powerful kind of horny modern fandoms warn against. >:3 This is a charged, obsessive environment, electric and alive with an anguished reaching for that next next next release. Orchestrations on a world grinding the guardrails of humanity. Who told me this was the more clinical ancestor to Titane?! No, I think that would be the dry medical-grade repetitions of the book-- Cronenberg took the text and made it writhe, unfulfilled, against metal and glass. Having seen Titane just last night, they one-two punching for my life out here. Oh! and fantastic backing from Howard Shore, by the way, by the way, Howard, you mood-setting fiend!
