Pity

Pity definitely is a unique film. Coming out of what is being called the "Greek weird wave", Pity follows a man who has depression, and will do whatever he can to get people to pity him. It may move by at an odd pace, but it's definitely worth it in the end. It's full of great performances, and some great shots overall. I can see how this is similar to the earlier films that I've seen from Yorgos Lanthimos, and I will definitely have to see some other films coming out of Greece to really see what this new wave of cinema is about.
