A fusão perfeita de um bom tokusatsu com a temporada mais inspirada de Precure. Muito se fala que Super Sentai é o irmão mais velho de Precure, mas cadê as pessoas falando da irmã mais velha e trans de Precure!? Surtado, engajante, carismático e com um clima que só um Tokusatsu poderiam fazer. É Camp na medida certa, é fofo e é Cutie Honey. O Hideaki Anno não tá nesse projeto atoa. A direção dele salta aos olhos já na introdução e toda a narrativa que brinca com o gênero de Tokusatsu transborda da tela e sua conclusão é linda, sem ser piegas, mas se for não é problema nenhum, muito pelo contrário é sabendo de sua pieguisse que ele é tão bom. Lindo lindo lindo, me deixou mais animado pra ver Shin Kamen Rider!

Cutie Honey

Now this is a live-action anime adaptation done right. It captures and fully understands the spirit and campy nature of the original manga and anime very well. It doesn’t take itself too seriously, and the tokusatsu style lends itself here very well. This could’ve gone awry in the wrong hands, but it was made with pure passion and love for the Cutie Honey series, and it’s made by Hideaki Anno, the Evangelion creator, so it’s goated by proxy.
