Border
It's a shame that I didn't take the opportunity to see this film in theaters, because I can't imagine what it must have been like to see it on the big screen. This was one of my most anticipated films of last year, and we did eventually get a showing of it in Vegas, but my work schedule didn't allow me the time to watch it. But, I'm so glad that I finally watched it, since Border is absolutely fantastic. Eva Melander gives one of the most honest performances of the year, completely transforming herself into Tina, allowing us to see the world that she lived in. When you watch films, you should be able to suspend reality and live in their world, and this film smoothly does this. This film took a lot of chances that many American films wouldn't even dare to, and it pays off in the end. Border is one of last year's strongest foreign language films, and deserves more recognition than it has been receiving, since it truly is a fantastic film.

if this movie had a smell it would be moss and shit
Border
