Pedro's 𝘈𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘮𝘯 𝘚𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘢. A lot more serious in tone and I wonder if this is where his shift occurred in his work. Also, the first in which I've realized that all his works are completely different from each other. He has muses, for sure, but they never feel like the same character. All the women are different. Sure, some blend into each other, but they're completely their own and their independence is always so striking. Mother vs. daughter, how they come together, how they hate and forgive and love love love. Pedro understands that there is girl-on-girl hate crimes! And it's done so well here.
