i was so much more invested in eddie & connie damn you hollywood for focusing on ram & lillian instead. just the departing scene between eddie & connie, even though it was so brief it made me swoon. i absolutely loved the scene when louis armstrong's character and his band pull up to the jazz club and start playing with ram and eddie it made me miss my jazz band days in high school so so much. i love jazz and i love paul newman and sydney poitier!
