esse filme é muito aconchego, gostei demais! ele me despertou uma vontade estranha de trabalhar nos prédios de ny com pressa correndo pelas ruas q eu n sabia q existia. só não entendi o pq da continuação, acho q n precisava, teve um ótimo fim… mas é isso, estarei assistindo e espero gostar tanto quanto esse.

Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway give some of the best performances of their careers in TDWP. The plot is a bit choppy, and the character of Miranda is so over the top that’s it’s almost believable. At times it does feel unbelievable that anyone would sacrifice everything for a chance of being a journalist, but people do crazy things when driven. The film touches on greed, desire, sacrifice and betrayal, whilst not really focusing on one. Andy gives up everything for her profession, and doesn’t really seem to care all that much. She even goes and sleeps with somebody else only a few days after the break up, showing her monumental change. However, she then snaps back in reality and quits, after almost completing the year. To me that seems an odd decision, after she’s already lost everything, but hey ho, you never quit know with people. Overall it’s a good film and a deserved cult classic.
