Prisoners

Suspenseful from beginning to end, Prisoners has everything you’d look for in a thriller. This is my type of film, my favourite genre and some great twists. Jake Gyllenhaal and Hugh Jackman are two absolute greats and they both kill it in this. The ending is so good, what an amazing place to leave the film. It’s a classic and one I hope to one day revisit.

okay, first of all jake looks so good in this movie!!! and i can't seem to get over the fact that his characters name is loki. drink every time jake's character does the thing with his eyes.

Prisoners captivated me from start to finish. The dark atmosphere, the intense tension, and the moral questions make the film truly intense. Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal give incredibly good performances – you can feel the desperation and pressure in every scene. I found it particularly striking how the film shows what people are capable of in a state of emergency. It remains unclear for a long time who you can trust, and that's precisely what makes the film so exciting. A truly gripping thriller that lingers.
