What a surprise Ferdinand is. I tend to shy away from animated films, especially ones that are marketed toward kids, but I should not have judged this film before I watched it. Just like The Boss Baby, Ferdinand is absolutely hilarious. While this is a film that is supposed to be for kids, there are so many parts that will go over their heads and will appeal to parents, it's absolutely hilarious. This definitely was a surprising film that was very cute and had plenty of laughs, which definitely was something I wasn't expecting.

We were looking for something funny, and this happened to be on, and I’m glad we decided to watch it again. I’m not one that’s too big on the animated films that are intended for younger audiences, but this is one of the rare films that I actually really enjoyed. It’s surprisingly funny, and even though I knew most of the jokes, I still managed to laugh a ton and have a great time. I might just have to check more kids films out, just to see what else is out there.
