all the scenes with the brothers :') this broke my heart. as the eldest, idk how i'd survive if my younger brothers leave before me. we also need to talk about the acting in this because, truly, wow. is zac efron still eligible for a best actor oscar nom?

I have had this movie within my backlog for awhile and has been recommended to me a number of times. I finally got the chance to watch it and I can say the film is very well told and very gripping, to where you want to keep watching and seeing what happens next. I think everyone but especially Zac Efron played their role exceptionally well. I feel the story was heartbreaking but for myself didn't convey much emotion, as I feel others felt it did. I would definitely recommend it to others and for them to watch the movie because of the acting and especially Zac Efron's portrayal.

Poor kids. An unstable and abusive family fight there way to the top, but at a cost. Some of this is truly horrible stuff, and knowing this was all based on true events makes it worse. Still, a pretty fantastic film with some great performances, no idea how Zac Efron didn’t get nominated for best actor but he was great in this, as was Lily James. Definitely worth watching. RIP all those who died in this.
