for a hitchcock movie, this is a little mid. but as a movie in general, this was really good!! the ending was a bit underwhelming though :/

Suspicion
As a film this is fantastic, great dialogue, acting and a story which flows really well. All the build up of Cary Grant being the villain is great, and then there is the cop out ending. Apparently they made Hitchcock change the original so Grant isn’t the murderer, and this really costs the film. It just feels cheap and unnecessary, he should’ve tried to kill his wife with the poisonous milk, that’d been a fantastic way to end the film and would’ve been a lot more fitting and rewarding. Oh well, still a fun watch.

This is why sugar mommy and sugar baby should have a clear boundaries! on the other note, it doesn't feel like Hitchcock film, which made me feel slightly thrown off because the suspense comes later, it doesn't start from the beginning and kinda disappointed by the conclusion but then again understood why it happened because the studio control. Again, unemployed men would do anything except searching for job!
