I don't fully agree with the death penalty, and I think there is still a lot of discussion to be had about how to change it.

Unfortunately, speaking as a Texas resident, your first mistake was expecting Greg Abbott to listen to anyone, let alone the lord, like his ass is not in speaking terms with Jesus bro is 100% more likely pen pals with the devil if we're being real ... Eye for an eye father for a father that's kinda poetic in a fucked up way... The death penalty has always seemed a bit crazy and barbaric to me, as someone who believes that people can be reformed and who doesn't think the state should have that kind of power, it's hard not to be against it on a principle level. The actual documentary felt very run of the mill which is unfortunate for a man's last days but the subject matter was handled alright for what it is and it got it's overall message across alright.
