i didn't know anything about this movie before watching it but i still wasn't expecting it to be so funny. the entire room laughed out loud so many times, it was really nice to experience this in theatres. although at some points it felt like it was dragging, i still was captivated for the entire movie. i think this was my first mikey madison movie (that i know of?) and i get why film twitter loves her, she's a phenomenal actress and i'll have to tap in her other projects.

I had such a great time watching this! Sean Baker really knows how to bring out the raw, honest side of people’s stories, and it’s all there in this movie. It’s messy, sexy, sad, and somehow still full of joy. Easily one of the best films this year.

ended the movie having no idea what the fuck is the point of this, like im so confused??? what is this script? and what is that ending??? huh??? mikey madison carried hard for sure but that doesnt save the film at all and sean baker is going to hell
