Maleficent: Mistress of Evil

i enjoyed the movie, the visuals were beautiful as always. the princess was a bit useless at the end. the most likable character for me is no surprise maleficent. angelina owned this character, she does it beautifully!

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil

❝True, she had cursed the Princess Aurora. But that was before she found light in the heart of a human child and raised the girl as her own. After all, it was Maleficent's love which broke that very same curse.❞ · · ───── ·⋆⋅𖤓⋅⋆· ───── · · Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is nowhere near as good as its predecessor, but I can't deny that overall I still kinda liked it. As with the first film, Angelina Jolie did a fantastic job as the titular character, and I liked most of the acting of the supporting cast, especially that of Sam Riley and Michelle Pfeiffer, though Harris Dickinson unfortunately gave a very stiff performance. The plot was alright, but it played out in a surprisingly boring manner save for a few scenes here and there, and the CGI here also seemed worse than the first film's to me. I will say, however, that the costumes and sets were breathtakingly beautiful, and I liked a lot of the score throughout the film. All in all, I'm not sure I'd revisit this, but it was nice to watch once.
