Diary Entry forTag
A real genuine funny comedy movie that actually made me laugh with real moment that are everyday funny and not the typical movie comedy jokes that you’ve seen or heard millions of times.

WHERE IS MY SEQUEL WITH THE WOMEN PLAYING

What starts out as a lighthearted comedy turns around and turns into a buddy-comedy that leaves you feeling a bit melancholic and bittersweet. The first 20 minutes of the film are quite enjoyable, with the ensemble having great chemistry. It's when Jeremy Renner's character is introduced that the film seems to completely fall apart. His character is supposed to be elusive, never really showing who he is, but that can become quite frustrating, especially when it comes to some scenes between all of the friends. Any scene without Renner is fun, but it begins to drag when his character is involved in any way. It's a shame, since this film had a fun premise with a pretty good cast that seemed like they were having fun. Tag is a fun film that had a lot of potential, but unfortunately, doesn't live up to what it could have been because of some odd script choices, as well as poor character development. Maybe this film will grow on me some more when I watch it again, but I certainly won't be revisiting it any time soon.
