Elf

Can’t believe this was my first time seeing Elf. It’s undoubtedly a Christmas classic at this point and it’s easy to see why, funny and simple, a good recipe for a Christmas film.  Went to Taste Film in Manchester to watch this which was a fun experience and worth a visit. £90 does seem pretty extortionate though for what you get really, considering you literally get one alcohol drink with that and then just tap water. The 5 course meal is really more 3 course, as it’s hard to include a very small bowl of popcorn as a course or a drink as a course, but still this was worth it for the first time novelty but for that money I wouldn’t rush back. I feel it’d be very easy to replicate at home for a fraction of the cost which is something I plan to do in the future with a different film.
