The Roses
This one hit harder than expected. It’s funny, cruel, and sad all at once. Cumberbatch and Colman make every fight feel like love and every laugh feel like a wound. A film about how we hurt the people we need the most. Till death do us part.

I was lied to. The trailer for this movie promised me comedy and chaos. For starters, this movie is not funny. I had a good chuckle here and there, but I honestly cannot remember a single joke that I thought was hilarious from the movie, which was a major appeal to seeing the movie. As for the chaos, this film plays it much too safe. There are no risks, and whatever risks are there, it's presented all in the trailer. It doesn't get more exciting than that. My disappointment in this film is great, I expected a lot more from it. 4/10.
