Diary Entry forBlackBerry
“First they were kings of the world… then the world moved on.” BlackBerry is a brilliantly funny and quietly tragic reminder that in tech, winning once isn’t enough—you have to keep winning forever. The film captures the scrappy, nerdy charm of a couple of outsiders who accidentally reinvented communication and then got swallowed by their own success, hubris, and the speed of innovation. Every awkward boardroom meeting, every shortcut taken to meet impossible deadlines, every dismissive laugh at the iPhone is a step toward the abyss. The real villain isn’t greed or incompetence, but the relentless churn of a market that doesn’t care about who came first. What makes BlackBerry sting is how familiar it feels: a company blinded by yesterday’s triumphs, too slow to adapt to tomorrow. It’s not just the story of a fallen giant—it’s a warning to every tech firm coasting on legacy and brand loyalty. In the end, innovation is a treadmill, not a podium. Stop running, and you’re history.

I miss you BlackBerry. You're my childhood and my first smartphone. You're so iconic that day but now you're missing 😔✊🏻 Yeah, this movie is so tense and enjoyable like Tetris, there's something we don't know about BlackBerry too, the struggles too. The only thing i hate about this movie just a camera movement, please do not shaking and zoom in zoom out the camera 😭✊🏻. You guys should watch this if you miss and love BlackBerry like me.
BlackBerry
It’s The Founder (2017)meets The Social Network (2010) meets The Big Short (2015), and I loved it. Such an interesting story - very near to my heart because I loved my old BlackBerry. It didn’t rush the story; it was well-paced and avoided a lot of forced exposition. I loved the way it was filmed, what they chose to tell about story and the acting, but I didn’t love Mike’s resting face and his squint. Gosh I love a movie that’s cyclical.
