This was… fine. Not bad, not great just one of those movies that mildly entertains you and then completely disappears from your brain. Let’s break it down. Things I liked:  1. The visuals and lighting were pretty good.  2. Priyanka’s action scenes worked for me. She was badass in this movie. Though her acting felt a lil off at times but it’s rare.   3. The brutality was solid. They didn’t really hold back, and a few scenes genuinely stood out. Things I didn’t like (there are many lol):  1. The story is so predictable. We’ve seen this exact setup a hundred times with the same payoff. It brings nothing new to the table.  2. Karl Urban felt like Butcher… but American. Same acting style, same expressions. He never felt as threatening as a pirate character should.  3. Priyanka’s character has insane plot armor. I know most female lead action movies struggle with this, but this one pushes it way too far.  4. The film plays it way too safe with its characters. It really should’ve gone harder.  5. Even with a short runtime the pacing feels off. Some scenes drag more than they should.  6. The setup is interesting and there are moments where the tension works, but the payoff just doesn’t hit. One thing I wish they’d done in the movie is make her character darker, rougher, and more morally complex, and give more screen time to the flashbacks. Overall, it’s a timepass watch. This could’ve been much more interesting if they actually committed and went harder.
