- getting in a rewatch, i can express more accurately how i feel about the short. - i still don't like how abruptly it ended, and where it ended. - but, i still love the sense of longing there, between silva and jake--especially after their reminiscing on what was. - i was fortunate to originally catch the film at a theatre, that showed almodóvar's the human voice (2020) along with it, as well as a post-film interview regarding strange way of life. he revealed the narrative plan, if he was able to finish silva and jake's tale. and while i didn't initially care for the entire direction of where almodóvar would've taken their story, i still would like to see the story in full fruition, because i care about them.

Almodóvar utiliza o cenário do velho oeste para contar uma história de amor conturbado, enquanto conversa sobre como o gênero de Cowboys tem mais Queer code do que aparentam, utilizando a química e atuação de Pedro Pascal e Ethan Hawk para passar a verdade de um faroeste extremamente gay, o que é ótimo!
